FROM WHERE WE CAME AND TO WHERE WE ARE GOING
There exists up there a great plain, much larger than this world, where the Rational live. They live with their progress of purity. Yes, pure, clean, without defects, different from all these beats. And in this plain there was a part which was not ready to enter into progress. Some Rationals entered into this part many times, and they were called to attention; and in one of the times they paid no heed to the call of attention, starting to progress by their own account, and this part, not being ready to enter into progress, started to deform itself.
Thus was the beginning and the origin of this world. Starting to progress by their own account in the part which was not ready yet, instead of going forward, they went backwards; instead of going to the better, they went to the worse because this part was not ready. Then, this part strated to displace itself from the plain. As they progressed, it descended, and descending always, until coming to this conclusion that is there, inside a hole, looking up here and not knowing where all this appeared from. As they progressed, the part descended more, and os it was, very gradually, and they also becoming accustomed to it and thinking that they were they were doing very well.
Then, after a certain time, as they were deforming themselves, the plain was getting lower and lower; and they losing the virtues, as something that transforms itself into some other thing. The lost virtues, started to gather, after all of them being gathered, they generated there, in time, the formation of a dim silvery light; and the more they progressed, the more this part kept descending, deforming itself more, and the more they deformed themselves, the more thev lost the virtues and the more this focus increased and, in time, this focus started to heat up. That is the origin of the sun. It started to heat up very gradually and they more and more losing the virtues and as they were losing the virtues, the bodies kept diminishing and this focus becoming larger because in it, the virtues that they were losing were gathering; then after a certain time, this focus becoming hotter and the hotter it became, the more it helped to deform them.
And thus, this focus, becoming hotter, started to heat up, the piece of the plain on which they were progressing, more and more increasing its heat and everything deforming itself more and more, and coming out of this part, a resin which, with the heat, first started to blister, the after being wholly blistered, it started to become burned, after being burned, toasted, after being toasted, it turned to ashes; on that occasion, it was not wholly equal but in divers places. And the other part of the plain with the heat started to melt, becoming soft, from soft, gummy, turning into a thick liquid; in time, thinner, turning into water.
That is how the water was made.
